We are a small, friendly legal team. Our law firm in Punta Prima has been practising since 2002 with two English speaking lawyers registered at the “Colegio de Abogados de Elche” ; Pedro Molina López and Lourdes López Oller.
Soraya O’Rourke and Amanda Thomas also all provide legal assistance on a number of issues. We all speak English and Spanish.
Pedro Molina started practising law in 2002 and founded Molina Solicitors with Soraya O’Rourke in 2007. They saw a need for a professional English speaking law firm in Punta Prima. Punta Prima is close to the areas of Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa. This was especially to help people with little or no knowledge of the law in Spain. Particularly, to buy property here, and to deal with legal problems, such as litigation.

Although our lawyers are professional barristers, their work is not only Court-relate. It includes conveyancing, change of ownership of deeds including probates, donations and divisions of joint tenancy. Also we deal with family matters (divorce, death, separation and child custody). We are used to solving civil and administrative issues. Such as those relating to town halls, taxes and planning problems. In addition, we look after criminal and employment cases. Claims can be made for overpaid tax, such as town hall and inheritance tax.
We are very experienced and successful litigators. At times we act for clients of firms from other parts of Spain who have approached us to assist with cases. Especially property litigation including lost off-plan deposits, and for clients with no deeds. We also have a number of Class Actions for both property and bank litigation.
Over the years, we have helped with a number of desperate clients who have turned to us having not managed to find a solution elsewhere. Some tried many other firms in Spain, and have had their faith and determination rewarded, for example, by obtaining the deeds of their property.
